Question about 2006 Chevrolet Aveo
I just bought a block heater for my chevy aveo, but I don't know where and how to install it, and I don't want to pay a 100 $ to install it.
A block heater is installed in one of the freeze plug ports in your block. Drain your cooling system. Then drill a small hole i the center of the freeze plug and screw a self tapping screw into the hole. You can the use a claw hammer or something similar to pull the freeze plug. Then you just install the block heater in the freeze plug's place. Refill your cooling system and let it get up to full temperature checking carefully for leaks. Please rate my answer.
