Question about 2001 Chrysler Voyager
I have a 98 chyrsler grand voyager 3.3. For some time now the dash board dials wont work. They just go to zero, so I dont know my speed , revs, petrol and temp gauge. A few bangs on the top of the dash or on the persplex gets everything working again, but I know this cant be doing the car any good. My sister in law has the same car and also the same fault. Any answers appreciated

It sounds like your transmission is going into the limp mode. The transmission goes into limp mode to protect the transmission from major damage. You either need to take it to the dealer or to a transmission shop to have a diagnostic test done.

Its likely to be the 21 pin plug behind the heater control panel. Remove the long plastic strip under the control panel (prise of gently, held on by 2 clips) remove 2 screws behind this and 2 screws above on panel. The whole lot should easily come away. There will be 3 plugs, remove all three and try to start the car. If it starts your problem would be the earth. Hope it helps
