1997 Saturn SL can't get it started Have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, CPS sensor and coolant sensor.

Im not sure if this will completely solve your problem, but I will give it a try.

If the engine is flooded, crank the engine while holding the gas pedal to the floor for a couple minutes (or until it sputters or starts). This will get all of the extra gas out of the engine. Your plugs will be fine.

Check your fuel pressure with a test kit...they have a bleeder port that can purge the air out of the fuel rail. Its possible the old gas may have gone bad in 6 years. you may have to purge the old gas with fresh gas. couldnt hurt to put a couple bottles of fuel injector cleaner with your gas. Your injectors could be gummed up with varnish from the old gas.

Before you waste a bunch of money and time replacing good parts, get a code reader or have a mechanic hook up a code reader for you. This will help isolate your problems. If you are not getting a check engine light, the mechanic method may be better because their computers will give you more information than a handheld.

I have a 1996 gmc yukon 4x4 have flood problems I have put in new fuel pump has good fuel pressure changed coolant sensors changed throttle body changed computer plugs wires distributor cap and button coil...

Possibly a busted fuel pressure regulator diaphragm. The regulator is mounted to the end of the fuel rail.
With the engine idling, pull the vacuum line off the regulator port. If gas comes out of the port, replace the regulator.

1990 Jeep cherokee 4.0 sputters after it warms up. Runs good when cold. Changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, checked vaccum lines. There are many sensors, what do I do next?

the first thing is to scan the computer for any codes. ive had a couple of these with bad coil and another with a bad cran sensor, go to an autozone parts store and have them scan the computer for codes. they do it for free. another thing would be to put a fuel gauge on it and make sure the fuel preasure doesnt drop when it sputters.

Car flooding out making it run rough.

It can be a couple of things. One could be a damaged injector, dumping fuel into the one cylinder, or you could have a faulty plug, not firing, or faulty plug wire or coil pack.I'd start by switching plugs and wires from a good cylinder and running it and seeing if that cured the problem.Hope I could help.

Cant get started

if you say it is getting gas and is firing take spark plugs out it is probably flooded replace them with new plugs before re installing them let the spark plugs stay out for a hour so gas that is in cylinders may evaporate! and if you did flood it pull dip stick if strong gas odour is present you might want to change the oil most times when flooded all the gas runs down in crank case polluting the oil badly smart to change it once you get it running again good luck.
