My antifreeze is leaking, my truck almost overheated and its freezing cold?? I have a 1993 Jeep Grand cherokee. Well i try warming up my truck this morning, and when i went to actually leave i notice it was leaking antifreeze. I opened the hood and noticed that a little bit of the antifreeze was frozen on the hood right above the cap and it look like it was dripping from the cap but what look like smoke was coming from the fan area, the thermostat also reached above a hundred close to the rez zone. The thermostat was replaced this summer becuz one of the hose broke cuz it overheated. And now i'm having similar issues.

I'm guessing your leaking antifreeze. If so you have a bad water pump. If you have any more questions feel free to ask and Ill do my best to answer them.
Check the cooling fan motor and of course the fluid level. If the temp is changing thru the heater it could just be low on coolant , leaking from ? Two wheel drive have an elecrtic cooling fan only, make sure its spinning up when temp is 3/4. If not its probably the fan motor. Can be checked with a test light .

If you are lucky it's a heater hose, if not it's most likely a freeze plug on the back of the engine. There might be some chance of changing the freeze plug without drastic measures like an enginedectomy, then again... Seek professional help.
the problem with the stop leak is that it plugs up more than just your leaking radiator. sounds like your heater core is pluged up. you can try runing a flush in your system and putting new antifreeze in. it if its not to late.
first find the leak and repair it. second, make sure it does not overheat again or you may also need a thermostat. Your heater will not work when coolant level drops below a certain level. since it's leaking, likely that level has been reached. After repair has been made, re-fill with 50/50 antifreeze mix, with the engine running and heater on full heat to allow air in system to escape. If while filling it begins to overheat and keeps spitting out coolant, replace the thermostat.
