Not sure about this one but their isnt a hole to release the barrel ,also dont think the parts are sold seperatly, you will have to renew the whole steering lock assembly complete and cut the old one off with a mini grinder ,dont forget to remove the coil mechanism around the lock ,its the aerial for the chipped key and dont forget to take the chip out of the key and put it in the new key .or just tape the key behind the plastic covers aroiund the aerial so car will start .

Car immobilisor

you might be able to reprogram the key, but you can only do this if you have two keys, what you need to do is put one key in the ignition turn the ignition on ( not over ) put the key that needs reprogramming into the drivers door and lock the vehicle with the key not the button, wait 10 seconds, remove the key, then press the unlock on the fobb, turn ignition off, remove key from ignition, put in the key that you just unlocked the car with and turn ignition do not turn over, turn off ignition, remove key wait 10 seconds, then put key back in then you should be able to turn it over as normal, if that does not work you will have to take key to be reprogramed at the main dealer...hope this helps

Need to change the ignition switch

Remove panel under steering wheel. Put key in cylinder and turn back to accessory position. Looking under lower part of steering column locate a small pin under the key cylinder. While depressing the pin turn the key backwards and pull the entire cylinder with key out of column. Good luck.

Key wont turn in ignition

first make sure the steering wheel isn't in the lock position, putting pressure on the ignition switch. if that is ok, get the key cylinder replaced asap before it quits completely. (harder to change a that point) what condition is the key in? maybe try fresh one.
