Your probably talking about the fuel rail pressure sensor for a p0193. yes i have done a couple of them. No part of the job is very difficult, just unplug the electrical connections and vac lines on the upper intake. remove the egr pipe and the 8? bolts and remove the upper intake. one the intake is off then you will see the fuel rail pressure sensor ( FRP ) mounted to the fuel rail by 2-bolts. keep in mind when you remove it some fuel might spray out. also i would recommend replacing the 6-upper intake gasket/o-rings. Go to any Advance or Autozone Store and buy the Chiltons Manual for your vehicle. They are around 19.99 and this will have every repair that you will ever need to repair anything on your car. I love theses books. They have pictures and step by step instructions. Hope this helps.

I have 2001 ford escape with code po171 only. o2 sensor have been replaced recently. still throwing up code. what else should I check

How does a vehicle throw up a code?, If it did you would have to clean it up. Codes are displayed, your PC does not throw characters onto monitor screen, it is displayed.
Trow is to propel (something) with force through the air by a movement of the arm and hand.

Code p0193

first find out what the code is for. call autozone and tell them to look up the code and they will be able to give you a list of possiable causes, then go on and make your decision as to what you are going to do to fix the problem

Buy a haynes or chilton manual, if your mechanically inclined yes you can do this with the right tools.

I have a 2005 Ford Escape that gave a P0193 code, the car seems to not go when you put the pedal to the floor. Only has about 75000 miles

  • P0193 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input. This can be fixed by replacing the sensor. More than likely it has gone bad for some reason (it's hard to tell exactly what caused it).

  • Have a good one!
