Although motor oil has a built in compensation for cold weather, for example 10w-40, 10 weight during start-up in cold weather. It can only do so much. The colder thicker oil at start-up tends to magnify the wear found in high mileage engines. More then likely the ticking you are hearing is coming from the valve train. The image is a simplified view of a valve train. As an engine wears the valve lash can increase. This gap is what causes 90 percent of ticking sounds emanating from automobile engines. Should you be worried? Honestly no not unless the tapping grows in intensity and duration. Eliminating it can be as simple as removing the valve covers and readjusting the valve lash. But in a motor with over 150,000 miles on it I would be afraid that removing a bolt might lead to the motor loosing confidence in you and retiring. I hope this helps.
