The fuses for the headlights/taillights and brake lights blow out almost as soon as I put them in. I have replaced them several times now. It's not the lights and the fuses barely last for a hour before they blow again.
Hows your trailer hitch wireing old school 4 prong?check that wireing.the trailer hitct wireing generally ends up being the problem.checkwhere thay are tied in.and see if they are gettn grounded out.
If you have a trailer light hook-up where take the harness apart and put in an after market trailer light harness by the rear bumper. Those connectors get corroded and can cause a short especially if you are in an area where road salt is used to melt ice. Take it apart, if it's all crusty in there you might be able to clean it with WD-40 or electric contact cleaner. When you put it back together put some electrical grease in the prevent moisture from getting at the contacts.
