Most likely you have a dirty wheel sensor or unplugged or it has been knocked off each wheel has a sensor the develop-es 2.5 volts dc with a ohm meter you can remove the front wheels and turn the wheels and test for voltage if you don't get any then check for corrosion on the connections especially if you are in areas where there is ice and sad or ice snow and salt. You may have to clean the teeth off as it is a magnet and if it is dirty with brakes dust metal it could lower the wheel voltage output causing the light comes on.

What scanner works with a 1995 Buick Riviera?
I've scanned the car and all systems passed. I hear a loud sound like a motor running from the rear wheel after the engine is shut off. The traction system is not working. Turning the switch on and off has no effect.
What could be wrong that the scanner isn't detecting?
