positive crankcase valve is located on the back of the valve cover on the right valve cover i believe if your looking at the engine, you will need to remove some hoses to be able to access the pcv valve, here is a diagram to helpnissankid88_1.gifnissankid88_2.gif

Were is the pcv valve on a 2005 ford freestar

pcv valve is located on the valve cover of the engine. you will see a line running close to the middle of the valve cover gently pull the line out of the valve cover, the pcv valve will be on the end of the line. take out the pcv shake it, if it rattles it is okay, if you don`t hear a rattle it needs to be replaced. Also I personally would change the pcv valve every 25,000 to 30,000 miles because they are usually inexpensive.

Where is the egr valve located at

You didn't say whether you have the 2.4 or the 3.1 liter engine, so I'll give you both locations. On the 2.4 liter it is located on the left front side of the engine behind the throttle position sensor it looks like a canister. On the 3.1 liter it is located on the top right of the engine ( passenger side of the car) again it looks like a canister. Happy motoring!!!!!! :)

I purchased a pcv valve but I am unable to locate it on my car.3.5L engine.2005 uplander.

When facing the engine, at the drivers side top of the valve cover facing you to the right of the oil fill cap. It may not look the same when it is installed because it has a black plastic 90 degree nipple that you may have to remove and reinstall on the new pcv valve. The pcv valve fits into a black rubber bushing in the valve cover.
