Vacumn leaks will cause a high idle as described..but if its the canister line it will only leak when canister purge solenoid is activated . and will likely not affect idle..When you changed the tps did you set it with a scan tool ?? the tps voltage at closed throttle must be set at .47 volts or a whole bunch of wacky things with the Idle can occur...

1991 Century Buick V6 starter replacement.

remove the positive battery cable from the post
remove the 3 wires from the starter and the two bolts holding the starter to the block.
reverse the procedure for installation.

Will a 1991 Buick Century 3.3 transmission replace a 1994 3.1 Buick Century transmission?

Should be the same but look at the pan on the trans should be the same. If the pans are the same and there are the same number of bolts in each pan then you should be fine.
