Has this been taken apart before?? there are o rings inside the connector and a lil plastic backer piece, they can dry out and tear when pulled apart or score enuff to leak . is the fitting clean or rusty
same with the line, was it taken apart with the propper tool????
the coupler can be repacked if all the pieces are there. if indoubt
go to an auto wrecker and get a section of line with the fitting complete disassemble and repack yours be careful no damage
if beyond your ability get a garage to fix it ,leaky gas can spray back onto your exhaust n catch fire be aware!

Unscrew it and replace the "O" ring at the fitting. These "O" rings like to get old and crack.

You have to replace the connector. The parts stores have a repair kit for this.
SOURCE: How to install a fuel line on rear fuel rail (back of engine)
I did this job on my 3.1 about 2 months ago and i forgot to put the ("O") ring on back fuel rail. had a fuel mess!! had to tear down plenum to fix, in my case i lost the o ring on rail and forgot to put 1 on. I had to order 1 from chevy garage, and replaced it. cost 9.00 just for 1 little o ring. mine fit tight also!! see if o ring is ok, and check line. car runs fine!!
