I have an 04 Grand Cherokee Overland 4.7. It's never done this before...Try to start it and it just keeps cranking and cranking. Let it set for a while and it will start with no problems. Not throwing any codes and no warning lights are on. I noticed a slight hesitation at 60 - 65 miles an hour driving it. Never had that since this started. I have 58,000 miles on it. Any ideas?

What you are describing is a failure of a main circuit. The first thing you should check is yo make sure that your battery is in good condition and that the cables are clean and tight. Let me know if yu find anything wrong there. Then there may be another main circuit problem. Check all of the fuses in your fuse block in the engine compartment. If any of these fuses are blown, it will usually cause several things to not work. If you find any fuses blown, DON'T REPLACE IT YET. Let me know WHICH fuse is blown and I can help you find out why it blew so you can get the problem fixed.
Your battery is low or has weak cell. I recommend jump starting vehicle. If it jump starts then replace the battery. If
battery warning light is illuminated on dash may have charging
system concern.
I have run into the same problem in my 07 Commander. It is the oxygen sensor. IT is described as the downstream (before the catalytic converter)sensor 2 on bank 2 which is the drivers side of the cylinders. This is what I have been told from a member on the forum that I am on. I am still waiting back to hear from the dealership to have them fix my problem. I too have been there 4 times too.
I had a similar problem with my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It turned out that the battery posts and cables were corroded. I cleaned them up and it solved the problem immediately. Something to check on before you spend the money on a new battery anyway!
