Did you check your fuel pump relay and related fuses to make sure no fuses were blown? Passenger side under-hood electrical center shows # 3 fuse 20 amp fuse controlling fuel pump and ECM. Also #12 is also Fuel pump relay in Passenger side under-hood electrical center. These would be the first things to check.

If you have power to the pump then it about has to be the pump itself.

Car is hard starting

Find the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail. 3.4 ant 3.1 liters it will be on the front rail on the drivers side near the throttle linkage. On a 3.8 it will be on the back rail about in the midle. Remove the vacuum hose from it and start the vehicle. If gas comes out it is bad. if no gas comes out than you will need a fuel pressure gauge to see if fuel pressure is holding. If it is not than the fuel pump is the next most likely suspect.

I have a 1999 Grand prix. The car wont start but it tries to . You can hear the fuel pump kick on but the car doesnt start. What could be the problem?

Check for pressure on the fuel rail at the schrader valve. Which is located on the rail. My guess is you have low fuel pressure and have faulty fuel pump. Pressure should be around 50psi.

I already replaced the crankshaft sensor. When the car gets hot it won't crank and then when it cools down it will start back up 2000 Grand Prix 3.8

Could be ignition control module or fuel pump, if you don't have spark to spark plug's, control module, also check for fuel pressure at fuel pump pressure port, port will be on fuel rail.

02 grand prix 3.8 engine will not go above 3500-3600 rpm. if i try to drive it it barely can get out of first gear because that is the shift point. when it does go into second it will only get up to about...

two things i can think of, 1) a restricked catylitic converter. 2) faulty fuel pump or injectors. check your fuel pressure a the fuel rail to test the pump. a plugged cat. will cause back pressure in the exhaust, if the car is good and warmed up ( at night or very dark place ) look at the "Y" pipe attached to the exhaust manifold, if it glows a dull cherry red replace the converter.

95 Grandprix will not start. Found the Fuel Injection fuse blown, Unplugged all injectors and fuse still blows. With ECM disconnected the fuse does not blow yet still has power

it will not blow when ECM is disconnected, cause there is no power to the injectors when you disconnect the ECM. When you turn ignition on check for fuel pressure at fuel rail. Release pressure at nipple on fuel rail. If no pressure exists puel pump is shot. If there is pressure your fuel filter might be plugged.
