It could be the fuel pressure regulator. If you hold the gas pedal to the floor will it start then? The fuel pressure regulator is on the fuel rail and should have a vacuum line going to it, if you pull that vacuum line off and there is gas there the regulator is bad. There's a diaphram in there that can rupture and the vacuum of the engine sucks gas into the intake manifold and floods the engine. The regulator is about $100 from Napa or O'Riley's auto parts. If you are going to change that yourself be sure to let the fuel pressure bleed off. Let the vehicle sit with the ignition off for a least a 1/2 hour.

Check for a bad temperature sensor. If there is any code, read it with a scanner, and it will usually tell you what is going on.

it could be a pulley that is cold or lubricant on it is low. Or could be the air intake system. Nothing serous anyways.
