Some fixya user told me a website reliable-store it is very good.. I used it to repair my shredder it had some spark issue which wasn't easily fixed. you can go there and try
its in the fuse box. but no year, stated, so impossible to be more clear
open glove box, extract the operators guide, see page called fuses.
lost?, then buy one.
or just look, see the fuse box
cab
see the one marked CIG.?
on my 04 GV, its fuse marked CIGAR #39 , plain as day.
and runs my radio too, so if blown on my car, the radio dies.
try posting a year.
The ignition switch supplies power to many items including the cigarette lighter, dash lights ,instruments, radio. immobilizer, CPU , ABS and traction control. The first one I would check is the lighter as if the coil inside is dirty it may be shorting out .
the one marked CIG ! 20 fuses under dash , in box. the one blown will be it. fuse id #25 is cig/radio fuse. 25amps rated. i have no drawing of the box. you will have to look with a flashing and see the words stamped there.
use your car manual and locate the fuse box then use the diagram on the fuse box to show you which fuse is for the lighter and remove it and fit a new one and you should be good to go
It sure sounds like a fuse may have blown, although the cigarette lighter fuse in most cars does not control the radio, and should have been able to handle the car charger without blowing. Take the lid off the fuse box, either under the hood or inside the car under the dash on the right side or left side of the car, and look for a blown fuse. Usually you can tell if they are blown by looking at them.....but you often have to remove them first, depending on the type of fuse used in your car. The inside of the lid may have a chart that shows which fuse controls the radio. Good luck, genetuck
yes the cigarette lighter has a fuse in the fuse box under the dash and is marked as CIG/accs/.
This line from the box must have the +12 on it and should be availabel at the lighter central lead. check to see for short in the heater or assembly becasue the fuse had blown
Not sure on the location of fuse, but you may want to hook these items directly off the battery, you maybe drawing too much current on the circuit you have them connected to.
