Map lights and power door locks stopped working -2001 Chvy Camaro

I unplugged my Mirror on my 2001 Chevy Camaro to put on a new one and when I did something happened and now my Map lights do not work (old mirror put back on) and my power door locks stopped working. I push the lock button on the door and it just clicks. I push the door lock key on my keyless entry and it only activates alarm but does not unlock or lock doors. I hear a constant clicking noise behind glovebox when motor is running. All fuses are fine. What could this be? I tried resetting keyless remotes to no avail. Any help???

Beings as everything that stopped working is on the passenger side, I'd think some wiring got disconnected or broken.

2001 chevy impala security light keeps coming on

This is a problem with chevy vehicles that have the system theft light. after a couple of years of using the key, the lock tumblers inside the ignition switch tend to wear out and so causing the system to think it's being stolen. Now you have to put the key in and turn the ignition to the on position, without cranking the car and leave it for 10 minutes until the theft light goes out. Very annoying especially if you're in a hurry. The dealer cost to repair the ignition switch goes for about $600-$800. that includes re-teaching the key.

Power door locks on a 2004 chevy tahoe don't work

The door locks on my 1999 tahoe stopped working and I checked the fuse, which was fine. The problem turned out to be that the fuse for my cigarette lighter was bad and for some reason it also must be working in order for the door locks to work. Put in a new cigarette lighter fuse and the door locks worked again!

I have an 2001 chevy pickup. i just put a new mirror in

Did the mirror have a temperature read out before? All you should have to do is hook up the mirror to the connector and everything should work. There aren`t any separate hook ups.

First off, I'd like to say thank God for a site like this, and thank you for helping me "office drone1". And here is my last question for now. Today, I put on my 94' Grand Prix, the Passenger side power...

Since the locks stopped working as well, my guess is a fuse is blown. The first thing you should always do when accessories or lights or electrical things stop working is check all of your fuses (sometimes you'll have them in the engine bay as well as under the dash). I can't tell you how many times I've spent hours trying to track down an electrical problem only to discover that work I was previously doing had made a fuse blow.

It may also be a bad relay but I'd start with the fuses first.

Remote key lock stopped working after wal mart put new battery in and now my head lights stopped workin!!!

check fuse for low beam, then possibly both low beam globes. they could have blown.
the key remote may need reprograming into system try put key in ignition in on position then press remote buttons a couple of times then try if no good need to go to dealer to be programed into system again or it needs repairing/replacing.

2004 Chevy Surburban. The driver side mirror will not work using the switch on the door. Also the auto lock has stopped working. I think I have to remove the inside door panel to check the wiring.

On todays newer vehicles, the drivers side controls are contained within an electronic "control module". If only certain functions have stopped working, you are correct, the door panel will most probably have to come off. This will be followed by the removal of the master control module and a trip to your nearest GM dealership, salvage yard or other parts source to aquire a new module. I do not believe you will find a problem within your wireing.
