Every 90K miles it needs to be replaced. Also replace the Balancer Belt, cam, crankshaft, and balancer shaft oil seals and the water pump,Check the tensioner pulleys and replace them if this is the second belt replacement. Adjust the valves while the valve cover is off. Replace the drive belts.

My kids 1991 Honda Accord won't start. It crank, it has sparks but it just won't start. I change the spurge plugs, the plug wires, the ignition cap, the rotter, the ignition behind, and there are gas....

Take the distributer cap off, and turn the engine. If the rotor doesn't turn, your timing belt is broken. If it does turn, aim a timing light at the crank and see what the timing marks are doing. If they are jumping all over the place, and not staying in one position, your timing belt has jumped and will need to be replaced. Good luck. Let me know how you make out.

My automatic seat belts stopped working in my 91 honda accord. I need help without spending a lot of money that I don't have.

Breakers Yard is your best bet

It is a wear and tear factor on the belts and messing with them can only lead to problems with safety and testing

have your brakes checked. the seat belt may be covered under warranty, ck with the dealer. I worked at a Honda Dealer in the 80's and I think their seat belts were covered for the life of the car. I could be wrong

When im going to change the timming belt i hve 156,000 miles

look in the owners manual and under maintenance it should tell you when to check or change this. Also you can call a Honda dealer and they can advise you of the right time to change just ask for the service department and ask the service shop foreman.
