If the battery is low, check it with a voltmeter. Should have 14 or so volts. If it does not, then most likely the alt. could be bad.

I have a Taurus 2004, and it happens that the car horn beeps 3 times randomly. does anyone know what would it may be?

the horn beeping at random is indicating a fault in the alarm system. alarms have their own battery which is balanced by the car battery and any unbalance ( corroded connections -bad earth, low charged battery in alarm, loose battery connections ) will cause the horn to sound --same as too sensitive a setting for the alarm or a intermittent power to the alarm

How do you stop the alarm if the battery is dead.

The battery cannot be dead if the alarm is going off. however it might be to low to start the car and cause this situation. I would use the alarm remote to reset the alarm or un-hook the ground cable on the battery. Or charge the battery.

When starting alarm sounds and a dash light flashes tow

is the alarm an aftermarket alarm or an original Mercedes alarm ?
If its an aftermarket one it could be the self-powered battery cutting in because the battery voltage is getting too low and the siren thinks its being tampered with !
Check the condition of your car battery with a heavy duty discharge tester to see how low your battery voltage is going as you crank the starter motor , you possibly may need a new battery

The factory car alarm on our 2003 Corolla will not let the car start. Tried changing batteries on controller. Tried different controllers. It flashes lights, beeps the horn, sounds alarm at times,...

Okay, lets first try something, go to the car and use the key to lock and then unlock the driver door, this should shut down the alarm, if it doesnt work then try pass/side door lock then unlock with the key, this should start the car, this factory alarm wired through the computers so you may be driving with alarm going you may need to unhook horn wire at front of grill, also this is important!!! are you sure the car battery is good, if the battery is low it would cause this problem, the alarm would go nuts because of low voltage, try jumping it if the key doesnt work, hook cables to it then use the clicker to disarm and try it, let me know what happens i would like to know, good luck and i hope this helps.

THE ALARM ON MY 05 G35X KEEPS GOING OFF HOW DO I RESET? I HAVE DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY AND NEG. BATTERY CABLE...ANY TIPS. WARRANTY EXPIRED DEALERSHIP COSTS SCARING THE **** OUTTA ME....

Have the battery checked for proper CCA rating, low battery will cause issues with alarm system because if the battery is low the alarm system thinks the power is being removed from the vehicle in which the alarm goes off.

My 2005 Subaru Forester's alarm system is going off on its own. A local garage tested the battery and found it to be low on charge (425). Could this be the cause of the alarm going off???

yes a low or defective battery will cause the alarm to go off, if the battery was low chances are it is starting to fail, replace it before it strands u..
