The Xenon headlight fault indicator on a 2005 Saab 9-5

The Xenon headlight fault indicator has recently come on. All the lights are working, but I notice that the headlights dip downwards making night driving potentially dangerous, what would be at fault? Will it be expensive to fix?

SOURCE: Headlight - Xenon - on

if that is for one bulb, that's crazy. you can get them much cheaper online. it's not difficult to replace the bulb yourself. the bulbs ususally cost roughly $117 USD each. If the dealer is suggesting they will change the bulbs for both, it's a deal to have them replaced for less than $250 USD. I won't lie, it's a pain in the ****.

SOURCE: Adjust headlights on a 2004 Saab 9-3

Check the fuse box under the hood on drivers side, it will be number 17 and a 10 amp. this vehicle has automatic headlight adustment when you crank the car. If the fuse is blown the lights will point down to keep from blinding oncoming traffic.
