If you haven't had the intake manifold gaskets replaced it is a good time to have them checked out. The 3100 V6 is prone to having bad intake gaskets. Causing loss in coolant, though its not overheating keep an eye on the coolant level, and have them checked soon.

SOURCE: My 97 oldsmobile cutlass supreme is leaking

The most likely source of your problem is NOT a head gasket or cracked head, but the black plastic plenum or "upper intake manifold". These GM engines tend to melt, crack, or warp the plenum because of the hot EGR tube sticking up through the plastic.

If water is getting into your oil (milky looking), your lower intake manifold gasket is probably cracked. Once the plenum is off the engine, there are only about a dozen bolts holding the lower intake manifold on. When you replace the gasket, it is recommended to use an ALL METAL gasket with rubber seals to prevent this from happening again. The metal gaskets cost about $80 where as the plastic ones that are prone to breaking cost about $45. Better to fix it right once than to do it wrong several times.

Also, if you are still using Dexcool coolant (orangeish), be sure to change it every two years or so as it does bad things to seals when it gets old.

My olds cutlass supreme overheats but theres no heat coming out of the heater what could the problem be

Bummer deal! You have 2 problems. Your radiator or maybe the thermostat needs replaced - they are prime suspects. The valve that lets hot coolant run into the heater is bad. Of course, when your radiator coolant is low, the coolant won't reach the car heater.
Hope these checks prove helpful. The products at this link may be very helpful. http://www.auto-tune-up-and-repair-options.com/Radiator-cooling-system.html

antifreeze coolant maybe needed flushing and upgrade to situation.2)dirty oil 3)bearings in serpentine belt drive reaching they're life expectancy beat tips 1) check the caps on overflow bottle and see if dirt free 2) use duralube friction additive to compensate for high heat exposure to your engine block system [it will give you a decent chance to survive traffic while looking a shop to check the system out.

Wather in the engine oil , oldsmobile 1995 cutlass supreme

If there is water in your engine oil or it looks like chocolate milk, then you have a blown head gasket. Your coolant will also be off color and your car will most likely begin to overheat. It will be need to be repaired.
