The trunk may have a leak. Have someone get in the trunk wit a flashlight an watch as you hose every thing down, especially the tail lights. On the front carpet issue, Make sure the drain for the A/C is not restricted. It is on the undersid if the black housing on the firewall in front of the passenger under the hood. You shoul be able to feel the rubber duck bill drain. Squeeze it and use you pinky to clean it out. let everything dry out befor tackling the seat issue. Good Luck

WHERE IS TRUNK RELEASE INSIDE OF CAR?

We need to know Year, Make & Model of the car.
I'm assuming that u r missing the vehicle book and haven't called the dealership.
JIC: it's normally located on the driver side, somewhere near your left knee.
It could be on the "kick-panel" (under the dashboard, on the side of the interior wall, forward of where the driver-door hindges).
It could also be on the floor near the driver side car seat. Look around, @ the front left area of the car seat where the seat bolts to the floor. Possibly btwn. the seat and the door.
Also, look up, under the bottom left side of the dashboard. It will look like a small square that u will pull down.
Some vehicles have a button that u push. Some will b in the driver-side door panel, some older vehicles have this button in the glove-box.
Finally, there might be a trunk button on your car remote/dongle.
Hope this helps

Who do I remove rear seat for a BMW 760li?

Most rear seats need to be unlatched from the very bottom on each side. Try sliding the driver and passenger seats fully forward. With your back against the front seat press forward toward the trunk on the bottom of the rear seat on one corner at a time near the floor and lift up. This should release the latch. To replace the seat simply slide the seat back into place with the front slightly raised upward and push the seat in toward the trunk then push down til you hear the latch catch.

There is water getting into the trunk on the drivers side

check the weather trim along the trunk opening to make sure it is in good shape and properly fasten to the trunk.then check the trunk floor for a rotted out section(remove the trunk carpet)check the wheel well were the body of the car contacts the wheel well seam for areas that are not sealed.you may have to use a strong light to check areas to find any open area by shining the light from the outside in.there is also a plug that is in the floor of the trunk that is used to drain any liquid out by removing it,check and make sure it is in properly.if you find an area, you can seal it with either stone guard or roofing tar that gets hard when cured.

I am unable to open the trunk to my 2003 Toyota Corolla. Tried first with the key. Key lock is now in a horizontal position & won't unlock or move back to a veritical position. Also tried the release...

try pushing down real hard on the trunk and see if the lock will move. And if it doesn't then if you aplly alot of pressure to the top of the trunk and removing it real fast such as hitting it or sitting it. It may shake the lock loose.

Need to find release to open trunk

On a 1999 Plymouth Breeze, it's on the left side of the driver seat between the seat and the door on the floor. It's a small L shape handle that is literally connected to the floor.
