Can a conversion be possible from fuel injector to a carburetor on a polo 1.6i

If it is throttle body fuel injection, it may be possible to use a carb...but, why would anyone want to? While economy (miles per gallon) might be similar, fuel injection is superior in all respects. A carb has a gazillion moving mechanical parts that eventually wear out, get out of adjustment, or need replaced. Throttle body injection has a lot fewer parts, will be more stable and reliable over the long term.
That's my opinion. I don't know how much problems you might encounter with fixing the wiring, but if you have an engine computer, it will be all the more difficult, if not near impossible. Another consideration is that you would need a lower volume fuel pump for a carburetor.
My advice would be to forget it and fix the fuel injection system.

These have a central port injection system. The central port injection is very finicky on fuel pressure. Spec off the top of my head is 58-60 psi. As little as 1 psi under minimum spec is enough for the vehicle not to start. You first step is to accurately measure fuel pressure with a good fuel pressure gauge. I'll see if I can't round up the actual spec for you in the mean time. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

In need to change the fuel pressure regulator but I need to know where a 4.3l engine

The fuel pressure regulator is mounted inside the intake plenum. You'll have to take the top half of the intake plenum off and replace the fuel injection spider.

How do i convert a fuel injection engine to carburetor

The simple answer is to replace the fuel injection manifolds with one that will accept a carburetor. You do not say what kind of vehicle or eng you have so it is difficult, at best, to give a detailed answer. You may need to replace the fuel pump - or at least regulate the fuel pressure depending on the carb system you choose. (standard carb or throttle body fuel injection etc.) you will also need to consider the sensors you would have to disable to allow you vehicle to run. The input from these sensors which are handled by the ECM may (would) require a new chip to be installed (or reprogram the one the one you have) which may or may not be possible. When I built my race car - 82 Camero - I got rid of the computer completely and stuck with the old air - fuel - spark systems of the past. This may not be possible in your case due to the fact that I am guessing that this is a daily driver and it may need to be emission tested. I don't know if this helps. Let me know. Thanks

2000 dodge ram diesel 2500 . What is a fuel injection pump mechnical failure? a fuel valve feedback circuit?

This usually happens when the lift pump gets worn and fuel pressure drops below 7lbs and the injection pump has to work harder by pulling in the fuel and will destroy the pump, your is probably a vp44 fuel injection pump it needs replaced and they are expensive 1200.00+ but also change the lift pump or change to a fass fuel system,if the lift pump went out and you replace the injection pump it will ruin it in a short time.
The injection pump is not an easy job to change or for a novice mechanic as it has to be set in time with the engine at top dead center, and then the whole fuel system needs to be bleed of air.

Fuel line rusted out on my 1988 nissan pathfinder. Can I replace with a flex line? Also need line diameter.... thanks.. 6 cyl.

The line diameter should be 3/8 fuel feed line, and 5/16 fuel return line if the vehicle is fuel injected you must use fuel injection hose and fuel injection clamps. if its got carb. them you dont have to use fuel injection line.

I have a 96 explorer and i need to know the difference in engines

No difference, same engine, it's either called an electronic fuel injection (EFI), or a multi fuel injection, usually MPFI ( multi port fuel injection).

My 1984 toyota corolla ran out of gas now it wont idle

Quick explanation of your fuel system:

An automotive fuel system consists of everything between the fuel tank and the carburetor or fuel injection unit. This includes the tank itself, all the lines, one or more fuel filters, a fuel pump (mechanical, electric, or both), and the carburetor or fuel injection unit.
With the exception of the carburetor or fuel injection unit, the fuel system is quite simple in operation. Fuel is drawn or pumped from the tank through the fuel line by the fuel pump, which forces it through the fuel filter, and from there to the carburetor/injection unit where it is distributed to the cylinders.

So with that info...try first to clean your spark plugs.
Next, replace your fuel filter.
After that, depending on a carburetor/fuel injection, try an additive that cleans the injectors. For the carburetor, try a half of can of what is called "Seafoam". It comes in a metal can available everywhere, including Walmart. It is worth the $6-8 and also will "dry" out your fuel from water. Very good product.

After that, get back to us and let us know how your Toyota is running.

P0491 Secondary Air Injection System (Bank 1)
This code is not fuel injection but air injection, replace the secondary air injection pump.
