This could really be anything, broken timing chain, faulty fuel pump, faulty ignition system, it will need to go to a mechanice to be checked with a code reader to find the fault, most mechanics won't charge to have a look, its just very inconvenient for you to tow, perhaps consider a mobile mechanic. sorry couldn't be any more help. Good luck

I have a 1999 Legacy. Died while I was driving. Oil didn't register on dip stick. Won't start now. It turns over fine. Has power, compression, oil & fuel pressure is good. Plugs are dry(Not saturated)....

Could have overheated because low on oil, the engine may not start until the computer is reset, a safty feature which keeps the engine from damage in such cases., Take it to a mechanic to reset the computer if you think the oil being low was the main issue.

88 honda accord will start but not stay running its getting fuel, air flow and spark

Generally speaking, if the engine dies it has to be loosing one of the three components, fuel spark or compression.
A common problem with Honda cars is the fuel pump relay.
You'll have to figure out what is being lost when it dies to proceed.

With it just stalled you need to isolate the problem to fuel spark or compression to know that to do next. no spark inghtion modules fail. no fuel fuel filters and fuel pumps fail. Compression cooling system problems ( no fan) raditor coolant low) therostate stuck clossed. find something and reply and I'll be glad to respond to your post.

I was driving on the freeway and my 1991 Plymouth Laser RS just died with no warnings. The starter spins and turns the crank but it just doesnt seem to have any spark. all I hear is a whizzing sound. It...

Doesn't seem to have spark?? did you use a tester?? basic needs, spark tester(in line works best) fuel pressure guage, injector signal tester(noid light) and finally compression guage, rad tester optional, check spark and injector signal, the remove spark plugs and note their color, do a compression test, all cylinders should read within 10 percent, lo compression on one or two indicate head gasket, no compression timing belt, have fun

If the batt dies you have voltage drain, if you take the ground post connection off, and touch the post slighty their will be a tiny spark, that means something is drainning the battery! I woul disconnect the alarm periode!

Car died while driving. Electrical seems fine.

check to make sure the catalytic converter is not clogged, the timing belt won't make a noise when it breaks, check to make sure you still have compression. if this doesn't help get back to me and we'll do some other tests, please rate my fix i strive to be the best,Thanks Ray
