SOURCE: I have a 1999 Dodge

As per the code the PCM is faulty. The connection between TCM to PCM has to be checked. But as you mentioned the shift problems and lean mode. This is indication of faulty solenoid pack.the solenoid for the trans A6O6 model is in the trans and you must pull valve body to replace it.Check the readings look at the pressure's if pressure readings are good then solenoid pack gone if the readings are low then its tcm fault. As tcm is replaced so pcm has to be checked and replaced.I suggest get the solenoid pack replaced,as per the fault mentioned, its indicating solenoid pack not functioning. ----------- Thanks.Helpmech.

SOURCE: Hello, have a 2003 Dodge Intrepid SE - 2.7L with 42LE Transmission - just replaced the solenoid pack and OD-UD, LR accumulators-new filter gasket and fluid - now it's giving me OBDII codes P0700 (

It sounds like you have a handle on this but I will ask the dumb question, are you coating the orings with petrolium jelly or trans assembly jelly? As far as the codes go, you might have a bad ECM. That mmany codes all at once seems suspect.

Trouble Code P0871

Hello Paul, The P0871 code on your Intrepid is a fault code relating to the overdrive pressure sensor circuit. The most common fix is replacing the solenoid pack in the transmission. I hope this information was helpful.

I have a 2004 Dodge Intrepid SE and the check engine light has been on for several days. I took it to Auto Zone and they plugged in their tester. They gave me the following codes - P1776 and P0700. Please...

P0700 code is a generic code for Transmission Control System Malfunction

P1776 code means your solenoid switch valve is stuck in low reverse. (DTC 47) A stuck solenoid switch valve is a common occurrence in the valve body of the Dodge 41te transmission.

The first step would be to check the wiring to the solenoid from the TCM, then maybe try a new solenoid pack if the wiring is determined to be fine.

1776 code the fix

1776 Chrysler Solenoid Switch Valve Latched in LR Position (this is a transmission issue which may involve replacing the valve body and solenoid pack; on some models there is a TSB on this problem so be firm with your dealer / Chrysler).

I recommend changing your transmission fluid to see if that helps solve the issue....

Otherwise, you may have to change the solenoid pack as the screen filter in it will clog, and stick the solenoids.

2003 Chrysler Intrepid Sensor reads P0700

P0700 is a code in the engine computer telling you that you have codes in the transmission computer. You need to have the transmission computer scanned.

Not sure exactly what the "solution" was but I had the problem above dated May 8th 2009. After a new solenoid kit and repeated trips to my general garage that did not help at all, I finally took the car to a local transmission place and described everything I knew about the problem, including that I was leaning towards an electrical problem now since it was happening in the rain or morning dew a lot and restarting the engine usually fixed it for a little while. He spent two hours on the car testing all wires related to the trans and making sure the wires were connected firmly into the wiring harnesses. He charged me for the two hours, no parts required. After that wire check, I have had no problems to date!

I really wish I didn't spend that $700 on the solenoid kit and labor since that obviously did not fix my problem.
