What year?If you can see the motor, remove the rubber cooling hose, and unplug it,remove all retaining screws, and remove the motor. You may have to remove, and re-use the fan,it has on nut,10 mm,or 8mm remove the nut,and take a piece of wood, and tap the motor shaft out of the fan, there might be a plate,or square washer like metal behind the fan,re-use it.

Drain approximately two-thirds of the brake fluid from the master cylinder reservoir. Lift the rear of the Pontiac Grand Prix off the ground with a car jack. The heater and a/c in my 2003 grand prix will on

Your blower motor resistor is the problem.
The blower motor resistor is located near the blower motor on the passenger side in the heater case. The resistor is held in by two screws and has one electrical connector that plugs into it. Purchase the resistor and you will know exactly what you are replacing. Good luck

1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GT; Elec problem with fan

Replace the blower resistor that is mounted next to the blower motor on the passenger side of the vehicle.
This will restore correct blower operation and I suspect it is also back-feeding voltage resulting in your electrical issues.
Two screws hold the blower resistor into the heater case and it is very easy to replace.
Good luck
