Question about Oldsmobile Alero
I need to find a printable diagram of the engine of an Oldsmobile Alero so i can change the oil.
You probably won't need a diagram. If you know where the oil pan is. Under the car. There is the oil pan and it has a plug. Put an oil change container under it and remove the plug with a wrench. Let the oil drain out. Replace the plug. You should replace the oil filter too with each oil change. Then after replacing the plug and installing a new oil filter. Put in 4 quarts of oil into the engine by removing the oil cap on top of the valve covers. And your done. check the oil after running the car a while to see if it does not need more oil. Do NOT OVERFILL!! That can ruin the gaskets and an oil leak can occur. I hope this helps you. You can go to autozone .com if you need more info. Just click on the DIY and repair guide.

How to Reset the Change Oil Light
After changing the engine oil, the system must be reset.
With the ignition key to ON, push the RESET button
located in the driver's side instrument panel fuse block. The
