Diesel engine inlet manifold/turbo inlet

on the exhaust manifold next to the head
one pipe in the centre is the exhaust pipe and the other -rubber hose goes to an intercooler or the inlet manifold

You missed a seal on the turbo. Or the turbo is bad. Everything else you did would only make it smoke bad if you missed something.

We do no thave this engine in the US so have no info on it.

i think you may have a problem with one of the sensors on the turbo not sure what one or where it is on this model engine ,i would be inclined to look for any sensors then test them with a automotive multimeter although a normal one would check resistances and voltages just as well ,also check for any vacumn pipes that may be perished on or aound the inlet manifold area

1 - Remove the turbocharger intake tube
2 - Disconnect the charge air cooler inlet pipe
3 - Remove the push pins on turbo cowl
4 - Disconnect the turbo VGT solenoid
5 - Remove the oil supply tube
6 - Using the special tool, remove the oil feed tube
7 - Remove clamp from the turbo down pipe
8 - Remove the clamp from the turbo inlet
9 - Loosen the exhaust inlet pipe-to-EGR cooler clamp
10 - Loosen the RH & LH exhaust inlet pipe-to-exhaust manifold nuts
11 - Remove the rear turbocharger mounting bolt
12 - Remove the front mounting bolts
13 - Position the turbocharger and remove the turbocharger drain tube
14 - Remove the turbocharger

If you cant do it with these instructions put down your wrench and take to a dealership for a professional to work on it

You can fit a turbo to just about any car, the problems lie in changing the inlet and exhaust manifolds to house the turbo of choice and supplying the turbo with oil and water to cool it, also if the car has a ECU getting it chipped to provide the right amount of fuel at the right time.
To be honest if you want a turbo car it is best to buy one with a turbo already fitted as it will probably cost you less to buy for example a Mitsubishi Colt Turbo (around £1500) than to fit a Garrett Turbo (around £3000 with fitting and manifolds) to your 205. Not to mention that the gearbox, brakes and suspension would need to be upgraded aswell.

petrol or diesel??,whichever try disconnecting the valve that connects the inlet manifold to the exhaust manifold pull the thin rubber pipe off .

DIESEL IN THE OIL is most likely from the injectors leaking. the oil in turbo pipe may be from it being thinner with fuel in it i would repair this first

with the engine cold remove the turbo outlet hose and check for free rotation of the spindle. if it is ok check the wastegate capsule link arm mechanism is not seized as this is fairly common. if all is ok check the pipe work from the turbo outlet to the intercooler (lh side below airfilter headlaamp area) then from intercooler through up to inlet manifold. if all is ok, get a manual pressure gauge on the take off port at rear of inlet manifold should be a pipe blocked off with a rubber bung (lh side back of manifold) (lh side is gear box side of engine) drive car an see what the gauge reads. if it is registering boost then is often the manual boost transducer module on the right hand wheel arch by the cam belt cover that is not working so boost is there just does not register in the car.full boost is not achieved until car is at normal operating temp. if no boost turbo may need checking for wastegate operation or damage on the exhaust side.
