Question about 1989 Honda Accord 4 Door
Essentially, your fuel pump is in the gas tank:
Detach the negative battery cable (if you have an anti-theft radio, make sure you have the code).
The fuel pump is under an access cover which is under the carpet, on the left side, in the luggage area (your trunk).
Pry out the left maintenance cover.
Unplug the electrical connecter at the fuel pump, label and disconnect the lines.
Carefully remove the retaining nuts securing the pump, then lift it out of the gas tank (the pump may require some manipulation to remove).
Installation is reverse of removal.
Hope this helps you.
