Diamond blade with diamond center no adapter?

Just curious. I have a diamond blade which i was going to use and it had a diamond shaped pop out in the center. I don't have an arbor that can handle it. Is this sold separately?

Easiest solution is to get a blade that matches your arbor. It really isn't worth the effort to modify your saw to accept the diamond shape blade you currently have. Most D-I-Y centers and tool shops have what you need.

Don't think so. Buy new part and latch mechanism should be apparent. I think they just "pop" into place.

Need to remove sticky residue from rock saw interior

I would use some sort of degrease product in the system to remove the oil residue . I believe that if you read the instructions it would say when cutting rock use only water to cool the diamond blade . Cutting oil is used only on certain metals to lubricate the saw edges and teeth as well as cooling and never in a concentration above 25% as it affects the cutting ability of the blade. For example concrete cutters use diamond saws and tap water when cutting

Is there a separate battery for car alarm on BMW 1995 compact

Do you have the diamond shaped key? If so, the battery isn't meant to be replaced (it charges when put in the ignition). You have a few options:

1. Buy a new key from the dealer. A new key costs about $250 and they'll probably have to order it.

2. You could try to cut open the key and replaced the rechargeable battery. Your key wasn't meant to be opened so it will be tough.
If you go this route, you'll want a new cover since it now looks terrible. Look on ebay and buy diamond shaped blank key. There are 2 type; one with a notch and one without. Get the blank key cut and move the internals from your old to your new key.

If you don't have the diamond shaped key, look for the seam and a small notch on the side of the key and pry it open to access the battery. You can find the battery (the correct size is printed on top of the battery) at Amazon.

I can get the old wiper blades off my 2008 avalon but don't know how to put on new ones. do you have to remove something from old blade?

  1. After you have removed the old wiper blade make sure to remove any adapter left behind on the actual wiper arm as the new blade should come with a multi use adapter.
  2. It should just be a bare metal rounded hook bar now.
  3. Now if there is not adapter on the new wiper blade then put the one provided on. Often times the wiper blade comes with this adapter already on the wiper blade.
  4. Pull the wiper arm out a bit and set the new blade under the open section of the wiper arm.
  5. That adapter will have a little play to it.
  6. Push it up a bit so it fits in the slot on the wiper arm and pull up on the wiper blade and the blade should "click" into place.
Do the same for the other side and your good to go. I also recommend Raine X for your windshield. My experience as a mechanic and a storm chaser has proven Rain X to be invaluable in severe weather.

What is the easiest way to remove u joints?????????????

Some designs have U-shaped clamp bolts around the bearings with nuts on the threaded shafts. Take these off and pull the other section free (it slides out of the transmission or differential). Others have curved-Z shaped flat spring clips that hold the bearings in the u-joint frame. Pop these out with a flat-blade screwdriver, but try to hold onto them so they don't go flying when they come out. You should then be able to pull the bearings out and drop the cross-piece out of the joint.

Replace battery in key

If you have the diamond shape key, the battery is not replacable. If you have the square shaped key, the battery is replacable, but that is obvious because of the screws on the back of the remote.if you have the diamond shape key, it is recharged when its inserted into the ignition. If the key hasn't failed, taking a long trip 60 min. or longer should recharge the battery. If there is no change in the operation of the key after your long trip, most likely the key has failed and needs replacement.
