Question about 2002 Jeep Liberty

My 02 jeep liberty will not stay running after its at running temp.after it stops it wont start.

Common issue would be a crankshaft position sensor, but there are other possibilities

po300 is random miss fire doubtful two O2 sensors bad at one time most likely coolant temp sensor is bad causing engine to run rich this will cause O2 sensors to throw a code(thats what they are there for..exhaust gas temp. and raw fuel) running rich will also fowl spark plugs(=miss fire) P1128 ??

Check the fuel pressure ,high pressure will cause the injectors to leak. if pressure is within range suspect map sensor

Sound like bad valve ckeck the compression on the engine ,next the

check rocker arms and lifters sometimes lifters get stuck until they fill with oil. partially collasped lifter may need cleaned .

It sounds like a fuel issue. Possibly a bad fuel filter or fuel pump. I would start by replacing the filter as it is a much cheaper fix. I hope this helps.

2005 jeep liberty wont staet when temp outstde is below 25 it cranks but wont start


you hafta plug in your motor, to do this you must locate the plug on you jeep which is probably beside the right headlight between the grill and rad support. it can be plugged into any outdoor extension cord preferrebly 3 prong.
