The battery is in the driver's front fender in front of the wheel. It is directly below where the (+) and (-) terminals are in your engine bay. You will need to remove the wheel and the wheel cover to access it.

I have a 2002 KIA Spectra that will not start. I turn the key and nothing happens. No lights, dash lights, nothing!!! I had the battery checked and charged at AutoZone and put it back in. Still nothing....

you always have to reset when you take the battery out or it goes stone dead. loosing power sounds like a battery going dead due to no charging. charge it up and drive it bck to auto zone for an alternator check.

Car will not start

Does it turn over? if not, dead battery? if it does, Out of gas? Is it extremely cold where you are? Was it running fine last time you used it, or was it acting up in some way? Could be many things ranging from a dead battery to a shot computer chip.

We have a 2002 Grand Cherokee that we have just bought. Dealer installed a brand new battery because of sluggish starts. In a week the battery is acting weak again, sometimes it starts fine, other times...

I was having the same issue with my 95 GMC. I replaced the battery and alternator. It would start fine at times, at other times it would be sluggish. I finally took the starter off and had it checked. Turns out the starter was bad. When it would get hot, it would act as though the battery was dead. Replaced the starter and it has not acted up again. Have the starter checked. Replace if bad.

Battery acts dead, get a jump start and it runs fine. Battery load test shows battery and alternator are good. Could it be a bad relay?

The battery may have a bad cell. If a jump gets the vehicle started, replace your battery and you should be fine.

Acts like dead battery, all instrament lights work, put on batt charger still woturn over acts like dead batt, is there some kind of fuse? or what? help plz

maybe it really is a dead battery. Headlights bright? dim? if the lights are bright and you try to start it and they go out or dim, either the battery is bad, or a bad connection. Try to wiggle the cables at the battery.
