Buy a can of Throttle body cleaner and follow the instructions on the can, make sure you buy Throttle body cleaner. Carburetor cleaner is to corrosive to the gaskets used in the Throttle body's. The basic way to use the Throttle body cleaner is to just spray it into the Throttle body, working the Throttle blade and making sure that you also clean the Idle Air Control passage ways. As long as you follow the instructions on the can, you will have no problems. Just note that different Throttle body cleaner products will have different instructions, so read before you use. Just pay attention to the throttle blade, it's common for Carbon to build and can cause the blade to stick from time to time.

Good luck and keep me posted.

How do you increase the idle speed on a 200 chevy silverado 1500 fuel injection 4.8 LT

the computer decides idle speed. take the big air hose off that goes from the air cleaner to the engine and clean the throttle body with carb cleaner and a toothbrush, open the throttle to clean it good. you may have to turn key on and depress the gas pedal.

Vaccum hose diagram for 88 chevy truck. I put a 350 motor in my 88 chevy 1500 truck from a 95 suburban. I cant get the throttle body to stop idaling to high. I may need a vaccum line diagram for this motor...

it may not be a vacumn leak from a line, check the throttle shaft for movement, for example,i had a 89 1 ton 350 and my throttle shaft was moving around a lot and in order to keep it from idling high,i had to kick the throttle pedal. But also check the idle air control valve, which is the round sensor on the side of the throttle body.
