I have a 2000 chrysler grandvoyager se and it 's got a problem the air conditioner only works in full speed how can i fix this problem

There is a blower resister, module ,it is bad,it is located near the blower motor, mounted on the outside of the blower case, but actually goes inside the blower box to keep cool, most of the time the blower motor is the cause for the resister to go out,the blower draws too many amps, even though it may seem it is fine, this is the cause for the resister failure.

Where is the Blower Motor Resisitor located in a 2000 Chrysler Town and Country LXi? I checked behind the glove box and did not see the darn thing. Anyone? I have the part and was hoping for a quick fix.

It is under the dash by the blower motor on the passengers side.Just turn on the blower motor and follow the fan noise if it works. The resistor will be connected to the blower motor.Hope this helps.Good luck.

I have a 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager. The control for the blower motor only works in the last position. I got a new controller and plugged it in and tried it but that didn't fix the problem. Any ideas?

This really sounds like you have a blower motor resistor that has failed. The blower motor resistor is located almost right next to the physical blower motor itself mounted on the eveporator case...(same case the blower motor bolts onto). When these fail it only allows on side of the resistor to let current pass through the pigtail to to motor....hence being stuck on one speed...be it low or high...get back to me if you have any more questions... HOPE I COULD HELP!!!

The fan only works when you turn it on high.

this is caused by a failed part called a blower motor speed control dropping resistor, the resistor is located behind the glove box next to the blower motor, has a large wire connector going to it.

Blower motor

It's in behind glove box, you will probably have to remove glove box, but a good look up from under will tell you. You did check fuses & resistor right? Did it run for a while on high only?
