Question about 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited
I attached a couple images to be sure we are both talking about the same type of tread wear. Both can be categorized as cupping.
There are a couple thing that can lead to a tire cupping. Alignment however is not among them. It is rare for this to be the cause of cupping.
The two primary causes are an out of balance tire or steering and suspension components.
Since the cupping is more then one tire that eliminates out of balance issues.
That leaves the steering and suspension components. There is know way to know exactly which component is causing the trouble because any worn component that connects the wheel to the car (ball joint, wheel bearing, shock absorber, springs, bushings, etc.) can cause this condition. You are going to need to inspect it or have it inspected. To be honest it's hard to imagine these components wearing out on a 2007 vehicle.
Has there been any recent damage to the car? if so that might be the cause. If not I would be talking to the dealership about it. It's possible that this is a common problem. There may even be a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin), from the factory which might be covered under a recall.
Regardless whether there is or isn't you should get it looked at soon because a damaged component rather then a worn one is more likely on a newer model.
Ihope this helps.
