I ran out of diesel on A4 1.9TDI B6 2003 avant refuelled and have been unable to restart. Fuel is getting to the filter and tandem pump

Have you tried removing the airlock. When you run out of oil and keep restarting the oil goes so low that air enters the fuel system and gets locked inside. there is a pump on the fuel pump. Unlatch it and pump till it becomes free. Then crank the engine and hear it purr.

Engine:
Plug bottom carter pan. Buy low plastic reservoir and funnel
reservoir to hold 8 liters!! Have a new sealing copper ring at hand.
Do not overfill above max. Use no Bahco or other unsuitable wrench. The right spanner size please!!! Leve is by pulling the stick as usual..

Gearbox:
Have it done!!

Audi A4 instrument cluster does not work

Your dash has what is known in the trade as a dry solder joint in the instrument cluster it will have to be repaired by people whom specialise in this work.
You could try BBA remanufacture as they do a lot of this type of work for us.
