Question about 1996 Ford Windstar
Well without hearing it, i would think its a cv-shaft that has too much play banging around there...at the same time, it also sounds like it could something internal in the trans spinning too far before engaging....mounts usually makes noise under load..just after you put it in gear, and step on the accelerator pedal, you will then hear a clunk..not as soon as you put it in gear, unless extremely bad.
