You have metal fuel lines that come up from under the truck and wrap around the intake giving fuel to all your injectors. there is a place where they come through the engine bay and connect to the intake. you need ford disconnect tools (air conditioning line disconnect tool) that are plastic and at any parts store for cheap. Diconnect those two lines and then you just need to remove a few bolts holding on the line to your intake. Then it's as simple as unplugging the injectors and pulling them out. Gas will pour out for a minute but will stop and is ok as long as your not smoking. Not a very hard job if you take your time.

It's not easy but it's not hard. Just some stuff in the way. You see the chrome rails? That's the fuel supply to the injectors. You will see they're bolted to the lower half of the intake manifold. Unbolt them and carefully lift the rail off the injectors. If your rig has stuff in the way of the rails, remove it as you go. The rest of it just requires you pulling out the old injectors.

Kuga 2010 leaking injector

Yes this is a disaster and i think the only way is to put a special tool down the injector hole to recut the seat ,i suspect that under the injector washer is a blow by caused by it being loose in the first place ,or when fitting the injector with the washer on put some fire gum down it as well then sell it quick

Efi Fuse Keeps Blowing

It could be a short in the wiring, or a shorted injector possibly.
To check for a bad injector, pull off all injector connectors, put new fuse in, and turn key to on. Does fuse blow? If so, maybe a short in the wiring, possibly a problem in the ecu. If fuse is still good, put the injector connectors back on one at a time and watch the fuse. If one injector connector causes the fuse to blow, that could be a shorted injector. Good luck, don't know what else to check after that.

01 kia rio keeps blowing the injector fuse every time i put it in first and take off how do i fix it

You may have a shortted injector. Pull all the injector connections off, put a new fuse in. If it still blows the fuse, you must have a short in the injector drive circuit from the ignition switch to the injectors. I don't know what all is in the circuit, but you may have a resistor pack before the current reaches the injectors
If the fuse did not blow, then one at a time, reconnect the injectors. You are looking for a shorted injector that blows the fuse. If the first connection blew the fuse, disconnect that one, put in a new fuse, and start with a different injector connector. You may find one that blows the fuse, meaning it is shorted, and needs replacing.
Good luck.

My 1996 chevy blazer won't start. we changed the the fuel pump, fuel pump filter checked the relay and she turns over once we put gas in the carb. body. help please

Have you ever put in the gasoline tank any injector cleaner yet because the cleaner will unclog the injectors so full amounts of gasoline can get into the piston chambers the right amounts so try putting injector cleaner into your gas tank. When you put this into the gas tank to remember that it takes time for the cleaner to get to the injectors so you might have to keep trying to start the vehicle many times for the cleaner to unclog the injectors. This will not hurt your vehicle at all so go try this.

The car is a 2002 and has 190k miles it seems to be machine gun ******* per say when i try to accelerate almost as though the gas is not getting where it has to go to accelerate. However it gets a little...

Have you at all put in your gas tank injector cleaner first because injector cleaner helps in unclogging the inputs of the injectors. The 87 octane lead gasoline has impurities that will clog your injectors so you have to periodically put the injector cleaner in the gas tank. If the injectors are only injecting like 50 percent and not the 100 percent would cause this problem so start by putting this into tank one bottle of injector cleaner.

I have a 1997 dodge grand caravan 3.8l v6 with about 146k. I stopped at a gas station and put gas in it (was at 1/2 tank) Went to start it and it started hard. Cranked for about 4 seconds before turning...

Have you ever put in the gasoline tank any fuel injector cleaner yet because your injectors which injects the fuel of gasoline, if the injectors are not injecting enough fuel into the piston chambers that the fuel injectors needs to be clean to allow enough fuel to come in so go buy injector cleaner at autozone and put the whole thing into the gasoline tank and then drive. Your fuel injectors are clogged or going serious bad on you so you might have to replace them as well but first try to put fuel injector cleaner and see.

The rubber o-rings fell out of the fuel line, and I need to know what order they are supposed to be in so I can put them back correctly.

emove the six reverse torx bolts from the fuel rail using an E7 star socket. You may notice that the paper fuel rail gasket is starting to or maybe already has broken between the intake ports. This will cause a lean code condition. (P0171 and P0174)
2. Gently pry the fuel rail off of the lower intake and the six injectors. Note the orientation of the injectors beforehand.
3. Remove all six injectors and discard all 12 o-rings.
4. Thoroughly clean all gasket surfaces and o-ring surfaces.
5. Clean the o-ring areas on all the injectors.
6. Put new o-rings on the injectors. A light film of motor oil on the o-rings will help in seating the injectors.
7. Put the injectors into the lower intake.
8. Put new paper gasket between the fuel rail and lower intake and make sure all of the injectors are seated into the fuel rail.
9. Put the six reverse torx bolts back in and torque them down in this sequence:
<Firewall 1 3 5
............ 6 4 2
To 12-16 N*m (9-11 lb*ft)

reassembly is the reverse of the dissassembly. after you get this done, get you a cold one. heck get two. you deserve it.

(you can let the children and small animals back in the area now)

After removing the fuel injectors and rail to remove the manifold, how do you reinstall the fuel injectors?

the same way you took it apart. put a little grease around the rubber seals so they will slide in easier. just tap on the fuel rail while lightly tapping it into place.
