upon researching this make & model of car it seem that the fuel filter is located in the fuel tank on the fuel pump & should not need replacing unless your tank is dirty.
I had the same problem. I took my vehicle to the mechanic. My armada doesn't leak any more.
Change the oil filter housing gasket. It cost me $10 for gasket and $45 for labor.
Set parking brake and use jack stands if you raise the vehicle.
1. Remove engine front undercover.
2. Warm up engine. This is need for the oil to flow freely when draining.
3. With engine stopped loosen oil filler cap and then remove drain plug.
4. Drain oil into a drain pan.
5. Install drain plug with new washer. Tighten to 25 ft-lb.
6. Remove oil filter using a filter wrench.
7. Make sure the surface is free of foreign materials.
8. Apply engine oil to the seal and install your new Nissan filter. Tighten filter 2/3 turn after contact with surface or 13 ft-lb.
9. Refill engine with 6 quarts of oil.
10. Start engine and check for leaks.
11. Stop engine and check oil level and add to the full line.
12. Reinstall engine front undercover.
it is possible. although inferior oil filters have been known to do the same thing. for that matter inferior mechanics too. run and see if you see drips from the casing of the filter. it IS ALSO POSSIBLE TO HAVE WHAT THEY CALL "DOUBLE GASKET". SO GO GET A NISSAN OIL FILTER, PULL OFF THE OLD ONE AND CHECK FOR THE PRESSENCE OF 2 GASKETS OR O RINGS.
