Question about 2004 Dodge Dakota
I have a 2004 Dodge Dakota SXT.
Recently I hade to have the passenger side air bag switch replaced because it was not working.
I took it to my local Dealer and they put in a new switch for me.
The next time I turned on the lights I noticed that the light for the switch and the lights for the fan switch, lights for the temp switch and the lights for the mode selector were not working.
The dealer claims they could not have caused the lights not to work for the switch they changed.
My thought is they could have borken a wire going to the switch when they changed it.
Is this possible?
I suppose it could be a case of bad timing, but it just looks suspicious. No matter how much the dealer claims this isn't possible, you will still think it's the most logical explanation...I would too. And you will likely never take your vehicle to this dealer again. Rather poor customer service. Contact Chrysler directly with your complaint; they may be more interested in keeping a customer satisfied.
