If you mean the low coolant light then it is in your radiator just below the filler cap.You will see a wire connector going into a sensor. This is for the low coolant.Do not remove the cap when the vehicle is hot or you will get scalded with hot coolant.Good luck.

Follow the top radiator hose to where it meets the engine, that will be the thermostat housing, it will be on that or nearby.

CHANGED THERMOSTAT, CHANGED COOLANT SENSOR BUT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON

Check engine light needs to be reset w/an OBII scanner. Any good parts store can reset if for you (Autozone, Advance, etc..) and will usually do it FREE. Keep in mind, if it comes back on you still have a fault.

My Saturn ion 04 coolant warning lights keeps coming on but there is the right amount of coolant. how to fix this problem?

You have a sensor in the engine that reads the coolant level. Try to unplug it and hook it back up to reset it. You could also take the hot side battery terminal off to reset it as well. If it remains on, it might need replaced. It will not hurt anything by staying on.

I have a 2000 silhouette. the coolant level low light keeps coming on even though coolant has been added. after about 10 minutes of idling the temp rises to just below h.but temp is fine while driving....

Bleed the air out of the coolant system, and add more coolant,to radiator, and reservoir, and make sure the cooling fans are coming on,if the low coolant light stays on,remove the low coolant light sensor, and clean it off,it is located on passengers side in the radiator,it has a wire clip you have to remove, and dont loose it,after cleaning it,put the clip back on the sensor, and push the sensor back in the hole.

Low coolant warning light stays on.

Bad coolant level sensor in the tank. Look around the bottom of the reservoir and find a plug connection, unplug it and see if the light goes out. I think the tank has to be replaced dont think you get the sensor out. You could try by take the tank off and see if it will come out of tank but I dont think it will.

Low coolant light

I have a 97 Cutlass. The low coolant light is on as well. After talking to some of my mechanic buddy's this is a know problem with this model of vehicle (Cutlass/Malibu). You can either replace the coolant reservoir with the sensor or just ignore the problem as even with replacing the parts it is likely to come back on.

Hope this helps

welcome to the world of owning a ford. after about 130,000 miles your check engine light will come on and stay on unless you reset your comps. but will come back on if the problem is real or the sensor is bad. see ford has it set up so that do it your selfers like me still ahve to pay them money some how. only ford can sell you a new sensor, and only ford knows where it goes. take it to a ford dealership and have the run a digagnostic on your car i bet uit's just a bad sensor.
