Hi:
If you are asking about the fan inside your car,
The device you are talking about is the heater core. It is connected by hoses to the engine, where hot coolant from your engine produces heat. If you mean the under hood fan, behind it and in front of it are your radiator, and AC condenser coil.

Fan kicks on at what temp.?

most thermostats start to open at 85 decrees c so the fans should start at that setting . Check with your workshop manual or ask a dealer service centre for the exact setting as it is critical as to when they open for cooling the coolant temperature.

I have a 1993 lexus es300 and after it runs it gets hot.

Possible the thermostat is stuck closed and doesn't allow the coolant to circulate through the engine. Somewhat easy fix. Thermostat is usually located on the front top of the motor at the end of the top radiator hose. To change loosen the coupling bolts and remove the metal cover. The thermostat is round, made of metal, usually copper and is about the size of the radiator cap. It will come out pretty easily. When installing the new one be sure it's in the right way, it's a one way valve after all, so the flow is going the right way. There is usually arrows showing the flow direction on the radiator and or hoses. A gasket is required to help seal the thermostat in place. Be sure to use the proper torque setting to secure the bolts holding the coupling. They're not very expensive to replace. You may want to purchase a repair manual for the vehicle as well it's very helpful. Happy tinkering

Where is the thermostat located on a 1992 Lexus es300

there are two large coolant hoses connected to your radiator. Follow the lowest hose to the engine which is connected to a pipe. The pipe is connected to an pipe-elbow. Behind the pipe-elbow you will find the thermostat. It is troublesome to replace due to the compressor and alternator that are in the way.

How to change the air filter in my 2002 Lexus ES? I bought one and now I don't know where it goes. The owner manuals don't show either.

The engine air filter in a 2002 lexus ES300 is located in a black box behind the battery. It should have a thick air hose connecting to it which is the air intake. Open the two 10 millimeter bolts holding it together and open it and replace the filter.
