On the front O2 Sensor, the signal wire s Purple. On the rear O2 Sensor, the signal wire is Purple and White. (You will probably have to look at the wire colors on the main harness side of the O2 Sensor connector, not on the sensor itself.)

How do you delete code p1137 from 2001 Chevy cavalier ?

Four digit codes are brand specific. Code 1137 for a GM product means the O2 sensor mounted after the catalytic converter is producing a low signal.
The sensor and wiring would need to be checked.

Where is the crank positioning sensor located on a 98 chevy malibu 4 cylinder

if a 2.2 four-cylinder, remove the starter motor. disconnect the 7x crankshaft position wiring and harness connector. remove crankshaft retaining bolt and withdraw sensor from engine block. replace the "O" ring and lightly lubricate it with new engine oil. installation is reverse of removal. have a good one !!

I took my 1997 chevy malibu to get an emissions test. It failed because the evaporative system monitor was not ready. But a DTC code was found the code that was found was P0141 wich when i looked it up...

I would replace the sensor due to the fact that a P0141 is a malfunction in the heater circuit of the Bank 1 Sensor 2 O2 sensor. There is always a slight chance that there is a short in the wiring harness though. But I would look at the sensor and the harness and if the wiring seems to be in tact, then I would go ahead and replace the sensor.

Bad knock sensor on 1998 chevy malibu 2.4L

The knock sensor is on the back side of the engine near the trans. It is round, with a 1 wire connector. You will have to get it from underneath. Good Luck.
