Brake light on

the lamp is shared.
so glows for more than one fault.
fluid low.
or hand brake left on.
do you know how to read schematics, then this is easy.
look at the R/B wire (red-blue)
if this wire ground out for any reason
the lamp glows. it works just like a flash light.

Why is glow plug light flashing after boosting in very cold weather?

hi.
in very cold weather, the glow plugs may stay on for up to a minute after starting the car to assist until the engine starts to warm up. the light flashes to tell you that the plugs are still on.
the time the light stays on can vary due to the temperarure.

Coil light flashing

Hi Robert
From the brief description of your problem I'm guessing your vehicle is a Diesel? as the light you refer to sounds like the Glow Plug warning. When you turn on the ignition from cold the light comes on for around 5 to 10 seconds and then you start engine Yes?
If the light is coming on after vehicle is warmed up the glow plugs will upset the combustion and ruin your performance, so I would be looking at glow plug timer fault.
Hope this FixYa's problem!
