Please open your fuse box to check if you notice any fuses that are discolored or (potentially) burnt. if you find one, that fuse might be linked to the dome lights.
To be sure, please call your local advanced auto parts to verify the fuse # is correct and then you can order the fuse through advanced autoparts.
Look for a blown fuse for your antilock, or break lights, as you have to apply the breaks in order to get the shifter out of park, Check all your fuses in the Engine compartment and on the Inside of the Vehicle and I'll bet you'll find one that is bad.
Check the power distribution box by the battery, or under the hood. The underside of the box cover should show the fuse location and its application. If not there, it would be in the fuse panel in the car. Owner's manual should tell location, if the panel cover doesn't show a diagram.
You blew the parking light fuse. The wire associated with this is brown, behind the radio. Make sure that brown wire is NOT shorting out to anything. CHeck your fuses for one labeled 'park' or similar.
If you added any accessories to your car,such as a dvd or car starter, then your circuit could be overloaded. Make sure you put the correct amperage fuse in your fusebox.
Most likely it is just a blowen fuse...Your fuse box should have a digram on the back of it and tell you what fuse it is and whattege.....also if you have a book on your car "owners man.) it will have the fuse digram in there and tell you what fuse to replace good luck to you.
check to see if there is voltage going to the lighter itself. you can use a voltmeter for this or a 12v test light (really cheap). if there is no voltage while the vehicle is running--you need to replace the lighter. if there is no voltage at the lighter--check to see if there is voltage at the fuse. if not--i'd recommend rewiring it or figuring out where the break is.
Check the brake light switch at the brake pedal, try and activate it by hand, if still no brake lights, would recommend replacing this switch. Hope this helps.
