My understanding of the sensors is that they view in a panoramic path so any potential obstruction in proximity will be an issue. I have watched these units being retro fitted. Unless you actually get into the circuit and can test each sensor by disconnecting one at a time I think your problem will persist. You will also need to determine if they are wired in series or parallel. I would talk to a Benz dealer before tampering with them.

I have an ESP problem in my Mercedes Benz C220 CDI, 2008 and the problem is an ESP CURRENTLY unavailable. Cruise controls and speedtronic inoperative

It is usually a ABS wheel speed sensor has gone faulty, but you would have to have electronic diagnostic done to read off a fault code (DTC) and maybe a live data scan . Hope this helps

The nudge bar on my kia sorento sets off the front parking sensors any time you are driving slow enough to park it is continuous until you hit driving speed

They need to disable the 2 middle sensors as the nudge bar sets them off. When disabled they don't go off only the 2 side work when close to something, it's a design issue, take it Kia and they'll do it fir free.

Hi there, Hope you can help... According to Mercedez service centre after their diagnostic, I need to have crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor replaced. Question: How difficult would it be for...

both sensors involve quite a bit of work to get to, the sensors are (in themselves) easy to replace!
CKP(crankshaft position sensor is around $55 at autozone where i live.
I cant seem to find the cam position sensor! call your local parts store. they could help with pricing
the CKP itself only requires 1 bolt and one wiring connector.
Good luck

Brake warning lining wear

Yes the parking brake uses a small set of brake shoes that act on a drum built into the rear rotor. There is no wear sensors on the parking brakes. There are however wear sensors on the front and rear brake pads. If your brake pad warnig light is on I would have the service brake pads inspected. 82210425
