My window on my jeep did the same thing. I had bought it used and a friend suggested I call the dealer and see is my vehicle was still under any warranty. It wasn't (no surprise there) but there was something on the windows coming off the track will be warranted until April 2013. Its worth a try. There had obviously been a problem with these windows coming unglued.

Driver Window coming off track

Take off the door panel and make a visual test as you roll the window up and down. You may have a missing guide clip that keeps the window in the groove.
