This is a turn signal hazard flasher relay problem, it is all one piece.
Step 1 Check your turn signal lights. When one turn signal light goes bad, it will cause the circuit to appear that the flasher is going bad. Replace any bad bulbs that are bad and retest your turn signals.

  • Step 2 Locate the turn signal and hazard flasher relay. It is located under the driver's side dash below and behind the fuse box. Remove the cover of the fuse box. Using a screwdriver, remove the screw holding the fuse box in place. Remove the fuse box and locate the flasher relay underneath.
  • Step 3 Remove the bad flasher and replace with the new flasher. Reposition the fuse box and screw the holding screw back in. Replace the fuse box cover.
  • Step 4 Start the Camry and test each of the turn signals and the flashers

I do not have any turn signals or hazard light on my 2000 ford focus zetec how do i correct this

There is a flasher unit that controls both the normal indicators and hazard flashers, on a 98 ford escort it is fixed to the base of the indicator stalk switch, if you remove the shroud that covers the switches around the top of the steering column you can see the flasher unit, usually it is black and just plugs in to the bottom of the hazard and indicator switch. The unit should have an ignition supply to it as well as a perm ant supply when the hazard switch is pushed down. Sometimes these switches get sticky contacts so if you bang the switch on and off a few times it can sometimes make the contacts work and then then all the indicators start working again.

Turn signal doesn't come on until I hit my hazard light on & off

it could be duel filament bulb that is blown and shorting inside the bulb to the other circuit, you may need to remove all indicator and hazard bulbs and check. I would also try a new flasher can

Check turn signal fuse, located under a cover at the left end of the bottom of the dashboard. The signal/hazard flasher is located there as well.If fuse is blown, suspect a shorted wire, often at the tail light wiring in the trunk.

Blinkers work sometimes, sometimes they don't

Sounds like the flasher(which is your hazard switch) is failing.
