Question about 2002 Toyota RAV4
A vehicle needs gas and spark to run. The vehicle is not getting one or the other. There is a fuel pressure testing port on the fuel rail that you can put a rag over it and press in to see if there is pressure. Also you can put key in ON position and you should hear the fuel pump hum for a few seconds. If you don't hear it, check fuse and relay with an ohmmeter to make sure they are good. You can also put a voltmeter on the wiring to fuel pump to make sure it is getting power.
The crank sensor can also be faulty which is quite common. You can test it with an ohmmeter in the ohm setting.
The crank sensor provides power to ignition module and coil packs, then to plugs & wires.
