Disconnect the battery and touch the pos cable to a good ground,,,,,,,,best way is to have it reset with a obd scanner.

I just repaced the wires and plugs on my 1997 1500 GMC suburban with a 5.7L Vortec engine 4x4 and now it wont start. Can anyone help


It could be a number of things, if you can remove the battery connections to disconnect the car battery for about 1 to 3 hours if possible, then reconnect using the red first then the black. this resets the cars computer, I do know that often when you replace the plugs and leads that the ECM goes funny, not sure why this happens but try the battery first then get back to me if that fails.

You may need a Wiper Transmission, if bushings are broken for the the linkage.
