Disconnect the battery and touch the pos cable to a good ground,,,,,,,,best way is to have it reset with a obd scanner.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I just repaced the wires and plugs on my 1997 1500 GMC suburban with a 5.7L Vortec engine 4x4 and now it wont start. Can anyone help

Hi

It could be a number of things, if you can remove the battery connections to disconnect the car battery for about 1 to 3 hours if possible, then reconnect using the red first then the black. this resets the cars computer, I do know that often when you replace the plugs and leads that the ECM goes funny, not sure why this happens but try the battery first then get back to me if that fails.

Seems to be a very common complaint on here with late 90s suburbans, mostly seems the heater core is shot and needs replacing.
